Paladin is the comfy choice: Judgement, Shield of Retribution, Blessed Hammer, Wing Strikes, and Shield Charge all give you that "I'm safe but stuff still dies" feel. Whirlwind, Double Swing, and Rend Barb can work, but they often feel like they're asking for gear you don't have yet. Pick a build that wins fights while you're moving, not one that demands perfect positioning every pull. Take the boring defensive nodes early; you'll earn back the time by dying less. Don't hoard resources like it's endgame—upgrade a weapon when you feel your damage dip, and keep your movement tools on your bar even if it costs a little damage. Most people burn out because leveling feels sticky, not because it's hard. If you stay flexible, avoid the gear-dependent traps, and keep your upgrades rolling with things like cheap Diablo 4 Gold when you need a quick bump, you'll hit 60 without that miserable mid-run slowdown.
